Meet RAYA
CVO & Business Growth Strategist
Raya became a licensed esthetician at 17 years old by taking night classes during her senior year of high school. By 22, she was working for herself and started her first business in her hometown of Santa Fe, NM. After building a solid clientele, she moved to Tampa, FL, to pursue bigger dreams. She opened Flirt Wax Bar in a tiny room she found on Craigslist, starting with zero clients. Within a year, she moved into her first storefront location and grew her small waxing salon into a 7-figure Medspa with a team of 12. From 2016 to 2019, she invested over $250K in mentorship from some of the world’s top entrepreneurs. During that time, her business consistently hit $100K months—without her needing to be there.
In 2020, she decided it was time to teach other estheticians how to build their own success, and Bosses in Beauty was born. Since then, she and her husband, Trae, successfully sold her former business for a 3x multiple and have gone all in on helping estheticians and aesthetic professionals scale, systemize, and achieve financial freedom.

Meet TRAE
CEO, Business Strategist & Certified DISC Coach
Trae graduated from the University of Louisville with a double major in Sports Administration and Communication. He pursued his love of basketball and began coaching at the college level, with some of his players making it to the NBA. Trae later moved to Tampa, Florida, to help his brother start a water restoration business. After managing over 120 projects and successfully scaling that business to 7 figures, he joined Flirt as CEO, to lead its rebrand from a waxing and microblading salon to a medical spa. As CEO, he scaled Flirt to $165K/month and helped position it for a profitable sale.
Trae has invested over $200K into his business education, learning from some of the most successful leaders in the industry. At Bosses in Beauty, he manages the team, launches, Facebook Ads, and corporate sponsorships. He also works closely with Platinum Clients, helping them troubleshoot personal and professional challenges using the DISC assessment, a certification he earned from Dr. Eric Thomas. Trae is passionate about business growth and empowering people to achieve their dreams.

Meet Stephanie
Director of Operations
Stephanie started working as a receptionist at Flirt Wax Bar in 2019, and within one year, she was promoted to manager. At only 22 years old, she was successfully managing a team of 12, thousands of clients per month, and maintaining the smooth operations of a 7-figure business. In 2023, Trae and Raya knew they needed to bring her on board, full-time, at Bosses in Beauty. In operations, she does everything on the back end, from executing launches and scheduling classes and events to moderating live calls and ensuring our clients’ success within our programs. Stephanie is currently getting her Bachelor's in Artificial Intelligence and Business Analytics at the University of South Florida.

With no clients and a tiny, less-than-ideal room rented off Craigslist, she dove in headfirst, driven by her commitment to creating something extraordinary.
